The "Viva la conservación" program is designed to share with our guests our beloved site.
We have a natural fresh water lagoon accessible for swimming and a trail in the forest where you will have the chance to observe the biodiversity of the area. We also have a magnificent room for Hatha yoga classes and ayahuasca ceremonies (which are optional).
Each Tambo (cabin) is independent and has two very comfortable beds and outdoor hammocks. Bathrooms are shared and separate from the Tambos.
"Viva la conservation" programs include accommodation, all meals (vegetarian), filtered water and the option of the following activities which will be coordinated with you:
- a guided tour of Tambo Ilusión and its activities (nursery,...)
- a guided walk in the protected forest (1.4 km)
- swim in the lagoon
We also offer excursions outside of Tambo Ilusión to the main tourist attractions of the region as well as alternative tours. These must be booked and paid for in advance (at least a day before).

Accommodation: the thatched cabins are rustic; they have two very comfortable double beds and mosquito netting.

This course is designed to learn and strengthen the basics of Hatha yoga to establish a solid foundation for your practice. The emphasis is put on the basic principles of body alignment that make your practice safe. The focus is on standing poses. The postures are demonstrated and taught with precision and learning is progressive. Postures are maintained a while in order to improve body awareness and muscle tone. Yoga props are used to improve alignment in the postures.

Gentle yoga is a style of yoga that is less strenuous than other forms of hatha yoga. In gentle yoga classes simple yoga postures and breathing exercises are practiced to achieve a state of wellbeing. The classes focus mostly on floor-supported postures (seated, on hands and knees, lying down) working movement and stillness, activating muscles and joints, creating space in different parts of the body and most of all creating a deep sense of relaxation. Through gentle movements combined with plenty of time to focus on breathing, one achieves a meditative state that helps relax body and mind.
Gentle yoga classes are appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow paced and relaxing practice. No yoga experience is required. Gentle yoga is accessible to participants of all levels of yoga, in particular, seniors, practitioners who are recovering from injury, as well as those practitioners who are in poor physical condition and those who are simply looking for a more relaxed workout.
Restorative yoga is a delightful practice. It is the yoga of deep and conscious relaxation. It is the yoga of "being" rather than a yoga of "doing". It is based on a series of postures during which the body is completely supported (by props and the floor) and each posture is held for a period of 5 to 20 minutes. This practice allows the muscles to relax completely and the body to "sink" into the pose. As the body adapts to the posture, the nervous system enters a state of relaxation, peace and of deep inner healing. When one reaches this level of relaxation the immune system is activated and the body begins to heal. Appropriate to all levels.
El embarazo es un momento extraordinario para iniciar o profundizar la práctica del yoga. Es una manera de vivir plenamente la alegría del embarazo. El yoga prenatal ofrece un ambiente de apoyo para las mujeres embarazadas para que puedan reunirse y compartir una práctica diseñada para mejorar su salud y su bienestar y del bebé que crece dentro de ellas.
Debe tener un embarazo saludable con el fin de asistir a este curso. No se requiere experiencia. Para muchas mujeres, este curso es la primera experiencia del yoga.

Cuando esto sucede, las glándulas cambian su secreción y se vuelven más jóvenes. La ducha fría ayuda a que esa sangre se renueve, favoreciendo la circulación.
Además, esta práctica tiene innumerables beneficios para la salud y el bienestar. Ducharse con agua fría ayuda a sentir las piernas más descansadas, es ideal para despertarnos y activarnos, es un buen remedio para aquellas personas que sufren asma e, incluso, tonifica y revitaliza los músculos.
También ayuda a combatir la depresión. En las horas posteriores tenemos una sensación de placer y bienestar.
Ni hablemos de la reacción en los testículos de un hombre, mejora notablemente la calidad y la producción de los espermatozoides.
Es una de las recetas de la "eterna juventud".
Aunque para unos es difícil tomar este baño, intenta empezar poco a poco; introduce los pies, luego las piernas, muslos, caderas y cuerpo. El recorrido debe ser siempre en dirección al corazón para favorecer la circulación, como el caso de los brazos donde debes comenzar por las manos y terminar luego en los hombros.
Y no solo es un beneficio para la salud sino que además significa no usar energía mientras que uno se baña. Esto resulta en menos calentamiento global. Por lo tanto, además de saber que se está ayudando a sí mismo, puede darse una ducha sabiendo que usted está poniendo su granito de arena para el medio ambiente también!
